The Directors and organisers of this year's Operetta and Dinner by Candlelight would like to express their sincerest gratitude to everyone who contributed to a fabulous night. People who attended and enjoyed; people who donated and helped out; people who rallied and pulled out all the stops. We had a spectacular array of singers on the bill, all of whom excelled to the delight of all those who were privileged to experience their talent. A Blooming Good Day

Family

Well done Maura! Maura prepares for her reading of The Dead.                             Katherine Mahon, Tony McClean and Josie Flood                            at the Bloomsday reading on Saturday in Holohan's.                 Mickey Murphy at the Bloomsday celebrations on Saturday.     ‘The Finest Place in the World’ honours Joyce    Bloomsday was like no other Bloomsday in Enniscorthy this year.  For the first time in many a year, a few faithful and eccentric fans of James Joyce met upstairs  in Holohan’s, or The Cotton Tree as it would have been in Joyce’s era, for an evening of readings and songs befitting the day that was in it.
